The hybrid sedan adopts a lower, wider stance with a sculpted body side and a tapered rear deck that departs from the previous generation's quirky proportions.

The XLE trim sits in the middle of the Prius lineup, positioned between the base LE and the top-tier Limited and Prime plug-in hybrid variants. This configuration pairs practicality with modest luxury touches without the premium pricing of higher trims. The front fascia features an integrated grille design with a horizontal chrome accent, flanked by standard LED headlights that narrow slightly toward the center. The wheel wells house 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-season rubber.

Along the side profile, the Prius displays a cleaner greenhouse with less angular character than before. The coupe-like roofline slopes gradually toward the tail, and the body-side crease provides visual interest without excessive styling gimmicks. Fuel economy estimates reach 57 mpg city and 56 mpg highway for the CVT automatic, a substantial improvement over gasoline-only competitors and a practical alternative to the Prime's plug-in capability.
