Bugatti has unveiled the Mistral Blanc Éternel (Eternal White), a limited-edition variant of its W16 Mistral hypercar finished in a pure white exterior that evokes porcelain craftsmanship. The French marque pairs this striking aesthetic with bespoke interior appointments that emphasize minimalist luxury and hand-finished details.
The Mistral itself represents Bugatti's final roadster before transitioning to all-electric powertrains. It retains the quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine producing 1,500 horsepower and 1,180 pound-feet of torque, capable of 236 mph. Only 99 examples exist globally, making each variant exceptionally rare.
The Blanc Éternel treatment goes beyond simple paint. Bugatti's artisans applied a multi-layer white finish that shifts subtly in different light, mimicking ceramic surfaces. The wheels, trim pieces, and badging receive coordinated finishes that maintain visual cohesion without monotony. Inside, the cabin features cream and white leather with carbon fiber accents, hand-stitched details, and Bugatti's trademark attention to ergonomic placement.
This release reflects industry trends where hypercar manufacturers emphasize hand-craftsmanship and personalization. Brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani increasingly offer bespoke finishes to justify astronomical price tags exceeding 2 million dollars. Bugatti's porcelain aesthetic specifically targets collectors who view hypercars as mobile art rather than transportation.
The timing matters. As Bugatti prepares for electrification under Rimac ownership, the W16 Mistral's final variants command collector attention. Limited production, exclusivity, and artisanal execution drive demand among ultra-wealthy enthusi
