Kia refreshed the Telluride Hybrid lineup for 2027, offering five trim levels that cater to different buyer priorities. The Telluride Hybrid combines three-row seating for up to eight passengers with a hybrid powertrain that delivers better fuel economy than the conventional gas engine while maintaining robust towing capacity and cargo space.

The 2027 refresh brings updated styling, interior tech refinements, and expanded standard features across the range. Pricing spans from the base LX trim through S, EX, SX, and top-tier Prestige variants. Each step up adds luxury appointments, driver assistance systems, and comfort features.

For maximum value, the EX trim hits the sweet spot between affordability and feature content. It captures most of the Telluride's practical strengths without the premium pricing of SX and Prestige models. The EX includes meaningful equipment like dual automatic climate control, an eight-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration, heated front seats, and comprehensive safety tech including forward collision warning and lane-keeping assist.

The LX remains the entry point but skips features buyers actually use daily. Moving to EX costs incrementally more but delivers substantially more capability and comfort. The SX and Prestige models appeal to buyers who prioritize luxury appointments and don't mind paying for them.

The hybrid powertrain matters here. Kia pairs a 3.8-liter V6 with an electric motor system to produce approximately 295 horsepower while improving EPA fuel economy to around 27 mpg combined. That beats the conventional V6 significantly without sacrificing acceleration or the ability to tow up to 5,500 pounds.

The Telluride Hybrid faces competition from the Toyota 4Runner Hybrid and Honda Pilot Hybrid, both strong contenders in the midsize hybrid SUV segment
