The turbo addition represents a significant jump from the naturally aspirated RZR Pro R, addressing a core pain point for off-road enthusiasts who operate in mountainous terrain. Previous naturally aspirated engines lose power as air density drops at elevation, a limitation that kills acceleration and capability when riders need it most. Polaris tackled this with turbocharger technology that compensates for thinner air.
The 275 hp figure positions the Boost as one of the most powerful production side-by-sides on the market.
