A Rivian electric delivery van wrapped in Walmart+ branding was spotted on a car hauler on Interstate 94 in northwest Indiana. The sighting marks the first public indication that Walmart may become a customer for Rivian's electric vans, following Amazon's large fleet orders.
Neither Rivian nor Walmart has announced a deal. Walmart's previous two electric van suppliers have exited the business. Rivian remains one of the few companies manufacturing a purpose-built electric delivery van in the United States.
