The World Rally Championship will hold its first American event since the 1980s in August 2027, centered in Knoxville, Tennessee. Rally US runs August 26 to 29 and will serve as the 11th round of a 15-rally schedule.

The event opens with a ceremonial start on Lower Broadway in Nashville's downtown entertainment district. Competition then moves to World's Fair Park in Knoxville, with stages spanning 15 counties across Tennessee and Kentucky through the Appalachian Mountains.

Rally US will run as a gravel rally, with stages primarily on loose surfaces rather than snow, mud, or pavement. This approach differs from more extreme WRC events like the Safari Rally.

The WRC says the route will wind through Appalachian mountains and forests. Tickets are not yet available to the general public, though the rally's website offers options to register for priority access or volunteer.
