The 2027 Karma Gyesera replaces the Revero plug-in hybrid sedan with a new design and updated powertrain. Karma Automotive, owned by Chinese parts conglomerate Wanxiang Group, launched the car under new president Marques McCammon, who joined in 2023 from DaimlerChrysler, Roush, and Saleen.

The Gyesera was originally planned as a fully electric vehicle with 590 horsepower, but Karma pivoted to a plug-in hybrid when it determined the luxury market wasn't moving toward EVs fast enough. The production version uses a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine borrowed from the BMW i8 that acts as a generator rather than driving the wheels directly. Two electric motors on the rear axle draw power from a 28-kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery.

The Gyesera produces 566 horsepower and 594 pound-feet of torque, up 30 hp and 44 lb-ft from the Revero. Karma claims 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds versus 4.5 seconds for the Revero, with a top speed of 150 mph compared to the Revero's 125 mph. The battery provides 80 miles of electric-only range and 360 miles total range on gasoline. It supports DC fast-charging at up to 50 kilowatts via CCS or AC charging at 6.6 kilowatts.

The body uses an aluminum spaceframe with a mix of aluminum and carbon fiber panels, including carbon-fiber hood, rear decklid, fenders, and rocker panels. The design sharpens the original Fisker Karma's proportions with a redesigned front end, piercing headlights, and a "Comet Line" across the hood. HRE forged aluminum wheels come in 21-inch and 22-inch sizes.

Inside, the Gyesera features a 10.1-inch touchscreen paired with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, Bridge of Weir leather seats, and Alcantara microsuede trim. The seats are narrow and unadjustable headrests sit low. Rear legroom remains tight, with barely usable rear seats. The trunk has a high floor and narrow opening.

The steering feels communicative with natural weight buildup. The accelerator builds power progressively. The car weighs just over 5,000 pounds and feels nimble in corners. Brembo brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers provide strong stopping power, though the pedal lacks feedback. Three regenerative braking levels adjust via right-side steering-wheel paddle. Drive modes accessed via left paddle include Stealth for electric-only driving, Sustain, and Sport.
