Nissan has redesigned the 2027 Rogue Hybrid with a new all-wheel-drive e-Power hybrid system instead of rebadging the Mitsubishi Outlander Hybrid as it did previously. The system pairs a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-3 engine with two electric motors for a combined 225 horsepower. Unlike traditional parallel hybrids, e-Power operates as a series hybrid, with the gas engine acting as a generator to recharge the battery while electric motors power the wheels.

The 2027 model replaces the short-lived 2026 generation, which lasted only one model year. Pricing starts at $37,065 for the SV trim, $39,065 for the SR, and $45,065 for the Platinum.

Nissan estimates 40 mpg city, 36 mpg highway, and 38 mpg combined. Car and Driver testing found the Rogue Hybrid quiet and refined with responsive acceleration and well-controlled ride quality. The one-pedal driving mode increases regenerative braking to bring the car to a stop without touching the brake pedal. Performance estimates clock 0-60 mph in 6.3 seconds.

The cabin features a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen on base models, upgrading to a 14.3-inch screen on higher trims. All versions include a 12.3-inch digital gauge display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four USB-C ports, and available wireless smartphone charging. Standard driver aids include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and traffic-sign recognition.

Cargo capacity measures 31.1 cubic feet behind the rear seats, expanding to 65.9 cubic feet when both seats fold in a 60/40 arrangement. Towing capacity is limited to 1500 pounds, well below the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid's 3500-pound rating.
