Polaris unveiled the RZR Pro R Factory Boost, a $200,000 side-by-side engineered as a turnkey race vehicle for Baja, Dakar, and desert competition. The machine produces 400 horsepower from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, compared to 275 hp in the standard Pro R Boost.

The factory race shop reworked the chassis, bodywork, and fuel system. The wheelbase stretches 6.5 inches longer than the standard model to 111 inches total, improving straight-line stability at triple-digit speeds. Polaris increased tubing sizes in key structural members for added stiffness and widened the cockpit by two inches over the regular Pro R.

Polaris used computational fluid dynamics to design CFD-tested carbon fiber bodywork optimized for airflow at speeds above 100 mph. The company fitted a 45-gallon fuel tank to extend range beyond 200 miles, though fuel economy sits around five mpg at full throttle.

The suspension relies on Dynamix DV components paired with Fox Live Valve internal-bypass shocks measuring three inches that adjust damping up to 200 times per second. Polaris upgraded shock shafts to one inch for additional strength. A Fox steering damper is also included.

The RZR Pro R Factory Boost is built at Polaris' facility in Roseau, Minnesota. Polaris set a Feb. 15, 2027 order deadline for the first production window. SCI Distribution handles sales and customer support.
