Aston Martin is introducing the Valhalla Spider, a roofless version of its mid-engined hypercar that maintains the performance of the coupe. The Spider produces 1,064 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque from a hybrid system pairing a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-plane V-8 with electric motors. The V-8 alone generates 817 hp.
The car reaches an electronically-limited top speed of 217 mph with or without the roof installed, making it the fastest open-topped Aston Martin to date. U.S. customers will receive a hard carbon fiber roof piece that is removable and stowable, while other markets get a fabric roof. A clip-on wind deflector and active aerodynamic systems help manage airflow at speed regardless of roof configuration.
Spider models are expected to account for roughly one in four Valhalla sales, making the convertible rarer than the hardtop. The car debuts publicly at the Wynn Concours in Las Vegas this weekend. Customer deliveries begin in Q3 2027.
