Pagani revealed the Huayra 70 Anima at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas with a paint finish that uses real diamond dust to create its metallic effect. The owner specified Inky Blues as the color, departing from typical metallic paints that use aluminum flakes.
The Huayra 70 Anima is the third model in Pagani's "Grani Complicazioni" collection, following the Trionfo and Derecho. The car features a blue and white two-tone interior with platinum leaf stripes and a bespoke white ceramic exhaust system. The roadster has no roof.
The car uses one of only a few seven-speed manual transmissions available in the Huayra lineup. A Mercedes-AMG-built twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12 produces 864 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque, sending power to the rear wheels through an electromechanical limited-slip differential. The dashboard carries a plaque with Horacio Pagani's signature identifying this as car three of three in the collection.
Pagani did not disclose the cost of the diamond dust paint treatment.
