Ringbrothers unveiled "Billie," a modified 1965 Pontiac GTO convertible, at the 2026 SEMA show. The car started life as a 1965 Pontiac Tempest before Ringbrothers extensively customized it for a customer paying tribute to a GTO his mother once owned.
The build features a Chevy LT4 supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 producing 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Power goes to a Bowler Performance 10-speed automatic transmission. The chassis is a Roadster Shop Fast Track Stage III with Fox coil-over springs and six-piston Brembo brakes. Wheels are 19-inch HRE G-Code in front and 20-inch at the rear, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber.
Ringbrothers widened the body by five inches, reshaped the front fenders, lengthened the rocker panels, and added carbon-fiber doors, hood, lower front end, and rear bumper section. The hood carries billet-aluminum inserts and an enlarged scoop for engine breathing. Custom bumpers, new headlight surrounds, and a single-piece machined billet-aluminum taillight panel complete the exterior. The paint is Billie Goat Blue with polished chrome trim.
Inside, the cabin uses gray and blue leather. The dashboard moved four inches forward and two inches lower. The car includes modernized instrumentation, a new climate-control system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a restored factory radio with Bluetooth connectivity. An aluminum trim and wood shifter complete the interior.
Ringbrothers invested more than 5500 hours into the entire build.
