The 2027 Lexus TX is a three-row luxury SUV built on the same platform as the Toyota Grand Highlander. Changes for the model year are minimal: non-F Sport models gain a new Matador Red exterior color, and Premium trim now features 20-inch wheels in a darker gray finish.

The TX350, badged on all gas models, pairs a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels as standard, with all-wheel drive available. The TX Hybrid (TX500h) combines the same engine with two electric motors for 366 horsepower total, achieving 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds compared to the gas model's 7.1 seconds.

EPA fuel-economy ratings for the front-wheel-drive TX350 are 21 city, 27 highway, and 23 combined. All-wheel-drive versions are rated 20 city, 26 highway, and 23 combined. Car and Driver recorded 31 mpg on a 75-mph highway test with the front-wheel-drive model.

The cabin offers heated front seats, a 12-speaker premium audio system, and a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen as standard. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included. Captain's chairs are available for the second row. The third row accommodates adults, with 20 cubic feet of cargo space behind it. With both rear rows stowed, the TX holds 38 carry-on suitcases.

Towing capacity sits at approximately 5,000 pounds, trailing the Audi Q7's 7,000 pounds and the Lexus GX550's 9,096 pounds. Standard driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist. The warranty is competitive, with complimentary scheduled maintenance for two visits.
