A 2016 Ford Focus RS with 2200 miles is listed for sale on Bring a Trailer by its original owner from Texas. The car is finished in Stealth Gray and equipped with the RS2 package, which includes heated seats and a heated steering wheel.
The Focus RS pairs a 350-horsepower 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. The system can direct as much as 70 percent of power to either outside rear wheel. Ford marketed the RS as its answer to the Subaru STI and Mitsubishi Lancer EVO.
The turbocharged engine builds boost quickly and produces more turbo personality than the EcoBoost version found in the Mustang, according to the report. The RS also came with Drift mode, which allows the car to perform tire-smoking slides when traction control is fully disabled.
Ford discontinued the Focus globally last year. The car faced dealer markups when new, making examples difficult to obtain at the original asking price. This particular example remains mostly understated in appearance, with only a rear wing and blue Brembo brakes hinting at its performance capability.
