The Dodge Charger Daytona EV carries lease costs nearly double those of the gas-powered Charger Sixpack, despite an MSRP only 9% higher, according to payment estimates from Dodge's online calculator reviewed by CarsDirect.
The 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack EV leases for $1,312 per month on a 36-month term with $6,269 due at signing, based on a $60,690 MSRP. The effective monthly cost reaches $1,486. By comparison, the gas Charger Sixpack Scat Pack costs $573 per month with $5,769 due at signing on a $55,690 MSRP, for an effective cost of $733 per month.
The disparity stems from residual value. Stellantis estimates the electric Charger retains 40% of its MSRP at lease end, while the Sixpack retains 67%. The automaker absorbs higher depreciation on the EV through steeper lease payments, shifting capital toward the gasoline model.
Stellantis discontinued the high-end Daytona R/T and canceled the flagship Banshee performance variant last year as the brand pivoted toward Hemi V8 engines. The company now emphasizes the Sixpack on the Charger's official website, giving it top billing over the more expensive EV. The electric Charger's appeal has eroded since its initial launch, with Dodge reducing promotional efforts.
