BMW's 2027 3-Series sports sedan arrives with a redesigned exterior and a prominent new interior technology setup. The base 330 model uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 255 horsepower paired to an eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available. The M350 tops the lineup with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six making 437 horsepower and comes standard with all-wheel drive.

The interior features a 17.9-inch hexagonal touchscreen display angled toward the driver. A panoramic projection display runs along the base of the windshield to show vehicle speed, navigation, and trip information. Users can drag up to six widgets from the infotainment screen to the windshield display, with further customization available via steering wheel buttons. Smartphones and smartwatches from major manufacturers can serve as vehicle keys. A seven-speaker stereo comes standard, with a Harman/Kardon option available.

The rear seat fits two adults comfortably, while three would be tight. The trunk holds 15 cubic feet with folding rear seats for added capacity. The 3-Series measures 187.6 inches long on a 112.6-inch wheelbase.

Car and Driver estimates the M350 reaches 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, with the four-cylinder 330 taking 5.6 seconds. Top speed ranges from 130 to 155 mph. Combined fuel economy estimates span 29 to 31 mpg.

Pricing starts at $51,250 for the 330, $53,250 for the 330 xDrive, and $67,250 for the M350 xDrive. Driver assistance features come standard, though self-parking and hands-free driving mode require additional payment. An electric i3 variant and iX3 SUV are also available with the same infotainment system.
