Tesla replaced its car referral rewards program with one that pays in Full Self-Driving (Supervised) access instead. A referred buyer now receives one free month of FSD. The referrer gets either one free month of FSD or a $99 Tesla Credit if the buyer starts paying for the service. Tesla's updated Refer and Earn terms no longer list any vehicle as qualifying for rewards. Under the old program, both buyer and referrer received benefits when purchasing a car through a referral code. That no longer applies.
