An Arizona driver operating a modified sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro was arrested after a Highway Patrol State Trooper clocked him traveling 105 mph in a 75-mph zone on Interstate 10 on October 25.
The Camaro lacked a hood and front clip and featured a large Hi-Ram intake. The trooper pursued the vehicle in a sixth-generation Camaro police unit.
During the traffic stop, the driver initially claimed to have a valid license. A records check revealed otherwise. His license had been suspended three times: in January 2026 for financial responsibility issues, in March for street racing, and in June for failing to appear in court.
When asked if he knew his license was suspended, the driver admitted he believed it was. He was arrested on charges of criminal speeding and driving on a suspended license.
