Jeep revealed the Scrambler SRT concept at SEMA, previewing a production Scrambler pickup that the brand confirmed would return in May. Built on a Wrangler foundation, the concept uses an independent front suspension developed with a Dakar-winning off-road driver, paired with a trophy truck-inspired rear axle based on the design from the race-winning Gladiator Striker. This marks the first independent front setup on a Wrangler-branded vehicle.
The concept wears a retro-styled grille, prominent hood scoop, and oversized fender flares finished in Punk'n orange paint. Tim Kuniskis, head of American Brands, SRT Performance and Direct Connection at Stellantis North America, said the goal was to find out what happens when "SRT stops treating the trail as the limit and builds the ultimate open-air desert weapon."
The Scrambler SRT concept is equipped with a V-8, though Jeep did not confirm which engine. The concept carries SRT badges, suggesting it could have either the supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat or the 6.4-liter Hemi 392.
Jeep plans a full Scrambler lineup with the SRT version at the top. Official mechanical details and timing remain undisclosed, though the concept could preview production models arriving around 2028.
