Nissan unveiled the Pathfinder XE-V6 concept at SEMA, a lifted and rugged take on its three-row family SUV based on the Rock Creek edition. The fire truck-red concept features a standard 295-hp naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V-6 paired with a prototype NISMO cat-back exhaust system.
The XE-V6 rides on a custom four-inch lift kit with a cradle spacer and sits on 35-inch Yokohama Geolander mud-terrain tires mounted to 18-inch NISMO prototype wheels. A full-size spare tire is mounted on the rear.
Nissan added extensive off-road hardware. A front skid plate houses an integrated Warn M800S winch, while underbody skid plates protect vital components. A custom high-clearance front bumper pairs with two six-inch NISMO fog lights and four-inch prototype lights mounted on the A-pillars. Rock rails, a rear bumper with tow hooks and trailer hitch, and mud flaps round out the protection and functionality.
For expeditions, the concept includes a roof-mounted NISMO storage case with four six-inch off-road lights, a custom MOLLE panel with a 1.75-gallon RotoPax canister over the rear window, and a 45-quart ice box in the cargo area. The interior retains standard Pathfinder comfort features.
